Entrepreneur Stories: Meet Kel of MixD Slush Bar

One of my favorite parts of building Sophie’s Mart is meeting entrepreneurs who bring their own personality, creativity, and energy to the village — and Kel of @MixDSlushBar definitely fits that description.

I met Kel while checking out local businesses at Union City’s #LightUpTheNight event. His energy caught my attention, but the slush sealed the deal. 😂 I grabbed a Strawberry Mango Lemonade, and it was 🔥 — refreshing, flavorful, and surprisingly affordable, especially with prices going up everywhere.

But MixD Slush Bar is about more than a cold drink. Kel brings an energy to his business that makes the experience memorable. You can tell he enjoys what he does, and that same energy came through when I asked him one of my favorite questions:

“If you could have any superpower, what would it be?”

Of ALL the answers he could've given me... I still wasn't expecting his. 😂 You’ll have to watch the video for that one.
